Uma bebê de 18 meses morreu após ser esquecida dentro do carro da família por oito horas. Os pais foram presos após a polícia identificar que ambos usaram drogas e álcool, o caso ocorreu no dia 4 de julho na Flórida (EUA).
De acordo com a polícia, Joel Rondon e a esposa Jazmine foram à uma festa e levaram seus filhos de 6 anos, 8 anos e 18 meses.
O casal saiu da festa por volta das 2h da madrugada. Segundo os relatos, às 11h Joel estava indo trabalhar e viu a bebê dentro do carro. O casal levou a filha ao médico, mas ela já estava morta.
O casal passou por um teste para determinar se havia álcool ou drogas no organismo. Os exames apontaram que Jazmine tinha álcool e maconha e Joel Rondon testou positivo para álcool, maconha e metanfetamina. Os pais estão sendo acusados de homicídio culposo.
