A fala de Trump surge após uma acusação do primeiro-ministro de Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, que durante discurso no Congresso dos Estados Unidos disse sem provas que o Irã tentou assassinar Trump.
“Se eles ‘assassinarem o presidente Trump’, o que é sempre uma possibilidade, espero que a América destrua o Irã, varra-o da face da Terra”, escreveu Trump em uma publicação com um trecho do discurso de Netanyahu no Congresso. “Sei isso não acontecer, os líderes americanos serão considerados covardes!”.
