Essas são algumas das recomendações da Federação Brasileira dos Bancos (Febraban) para os foliões que pretendem aproveitar os desfiles dos blocos de carnaval deste ano, que começam a se apresentar neste final de semana.
A instituição ressalta que a maioria dos furtos ou golpes acontece em meio às multidões de foliões, com os criminosos se aproveitando das aglomerações e distração de pessoas se divertindo nos blocos. Muitos deles se passando por vendedores ambulantes.
Entre as principais recomendações está desabilitar temporariamente o pagamento por aproximação, deixando apenas habilitada a possibilidade de pagamento por inserções dos cartões nas maquininhas.
“Caso o cliente queira manter a função de pagamento por aproximação, recomendamos que o cadastramento dos cartões de crédito seja feito apenas no aplicativo wallet dos smartphones, utilizando o pagamento por aproximação apenas pelo celular. O cartão de crédito só ficará ativo no wallet do aparelho após o desbloqueio do celular pela pessoa mediante mecanismos de segurança de cada banco”, recomenda Walter Faria, diretor-adjunto de Serviços da entidade.
Outra medida é o folião atentar-se para a hora dos pagamentos. Pois muitos golpistas aproveitam a distração da pessoa para trocar o cartão depois de ter decorado a sua senha. E, além disso, o visor da máquina de pagamentos deve exibir apenas asteriscos no campo da senha.
A Febraban ressalta que é importante pedir o comprovante impresso da transação para verificar se os valores estão corretos, o que pode ser verificado também em mensagens de SMS que o usuário recebe no aplicativo do banco.
Também é recomendado reconfigurar os limites de pagamento no modo Pix pelo internet banking na área “meus limites Pix”. O ideal é acionar apenas o valor estimado para gastar nas brincadeiras do carnaval.

Com relação aos aparelhos de celular, a Febraban ressalta os riscos de guardar os telefones soltos em bolsos, pois criminosos podem acessar senhas de aplicativos bancários e outros dados do usuário caso a senha esteja desbloqueada no momento do furto ou roubo.
