O homem de 61 anos suspeito de ter sequestrado e abusado de uma menina de 9 anos em Tramandaí, no Rio Grande do Sul, foi linchado e morto por moradores na manhã de quarta-feira (26). A menina, que estava desaparecida, foi encontrada presa em um alçapão.
O desaparecimento da criança foi informado à Brigada Militar do RS na noite de terça-feira (25). Na manhã desta quarta, uma equipe recebeu informações de que a menina teria sido levada até o interior de um estabelecimento comercial.
No local, as equipes ouviram gritos e encontraram a criança trancada em um alçapão com tampa de concreto e caixas de cerveja em cima. Foi feito o resgate da menina, que relatou que foi abusada pelo dono do estabelecimento. Ela foi encaminhada para atendimento médico.

No momento do resgate da menina, uma aglomeração se formou e começou a agredir o sequestrador. Militares teriam tentado impedir a ação, e o Samu foi acionado para socorrê-lo. Porém, ele não resistiu aos ferimentos e morreu. Um policial militar que tentava impedir a ação foi agredido com uma garrafada no braço.
O homem tinha diversos antecedentes criminais, entre eles feminicídio, tráfico de drogas, furto em veículo, crueldade contra animais e lesão corporal.
