Nesta sexta-feira, 15, será realizado em Ponta Grossa um ato em apoio ao fim da escala 6×1, regime que impõe seis dias de trabalho por um de descanso. O evento também defende a proposta de Emenda Constitucional (PEC) para reduzir a jornada semanal de trabalho de 44 horas, atualmente estabelecida pela Constituição Federal.
O movimento Vida Além do Trabalho (VAT), liderado por Rick Azevedo, organiza a mobilização, que ocorre simultaneamente em outras capitais, incluindo Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Brasília, Fortaleza, Vitória e Porto Alegre. A intenção é unir vozes de trabalhadores de diversas regiões que defendem melhores condições de trabalho e o fim do modelo 6×1.
Guilherme Mazer, integrante explica que “o ato também faz parte da campanha para alcançar as 171 assinaturas necessárias para que a PEC seja protocolada e discutida no Congresso”. Até agora, 130 assinaturas foram coletadas, aproximando-se da meta para que o texto comece a tramitar.
O movimento também conta com uma petição pública, endereçada ao Congresso Nacional, que já alcançou mais de 2 milhões de assinaturas. A PEC, de autoria da deputada Erika Hilton (Psol-SP), foi formulada há seis meses em parceria com o VAT.
