Um grave acidente envolvendo caminhão de Ponta Grossa ocorreu na BR-476, nas proximidades do trevo de Paulo Frontin, em União da Vitória. A colisão envolveu dois caminhões e um carro, resultando em um cenário de múltiplos danos. foi por volta das 16h de segunda-feira (29).
Segundo informações do Corpo de Bombeiros, um caminhão Mercedes Benz, com placas de Ponta Grossa, transportava bobinas, que segundo informações de interautas era de feno, quando uma delas caiu e atingiu um veículo Tiguan de cor cinza, com placas de Araucária. Com o impacto, o Tiguan colidiu frontalmente com uma carreta Volvo azul, de placas de Xaxim.
As equipes de emergência foram acionadas para atender a ocorrência e prestaram os primeiros socorros no local. A Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) ficou responsável pelo gerenciamento da situação e pelas investigações subsequentes.
As causas do acidente ainda estão sendo apuradas. O tráfego na BR-476 foi temporariamente afetado devido à colisão e à necessidade de remoção dos veículos envolvidos.
