A defesa de Érica de Souza Vieira Nunes, que foi presa após levar um idoso morto ao banco na tentativa de sacar um empréstimo, alega que o idoso estava vivo ao chegar na agência em Bangu, na zona oeste do Rio de Janeiro. O caso, ocorrido na última terça-feira (16), resultou na prisão em flagrante de Érica por tentativa de furto mediante fraude e vilipêndio a cadáver. Detida, ela aguarda audiência de custódia.
Um vídeo registrou a tentativa de saque na agência bancária, no qual o idoso aparece sem sinais vitais, enquanto Érica pede repetidamente que ele assine o empréstimo de R$ 17 mil. Funcionários do banco perceberam a situação e chamaram o SAMU. Ao chegar, o médico constatou que o homem já estava morto há algumas horas.
A advogada de Érica, Ana Carla de Souza Correa, alega que sua cliente estava emocionalmente abalada e sob efeito de remédios. Érica afirmou em depoimento à polícia que foi levada à agência por um motorista de aplicativo. A defesa ressalta que existem testemunhas que serão ouvidas para esclarecer os fatos e defende a inocência de Érica.
