Um atropelamento causou a morte de duas corredoras no último domingo (4) em uma rodovia de São Paulo. As vítimas estavam participando de mais uma corrida no momento do acidente.
Segundo informações da Polícia Militar, o motorista de um carro Chevrolet Celta foi realizar uma ultrapassagem e acabou atingindo as vítimas, Benedita Edna Santos, de 42 anos, e Marcia Souza, de 35. Benedita morreu ainda no local do acidente, Marcia chegou a ser levada para o hospital, mas acabou morrendo na madrugada de ontem (05).
De acordo com a PM, mais uma vítima foi atendida, porém, não se sabe sobre o estado de saúde da terceira pessoa.
O velório de Benedita ocorreu no Ginásio Municipal de Esportes de Taguaí e ela foi enterrada no Cemitério Municipal.
