Nesta quarta-feira (15), o governo do Rio Grande do Sul anunciou no Diário Oficial do estado a autorização para a convocação de até 260 policiais civis aposentados e 100 bombeiros militares da reserva, com o objetivo de reforçar o enfrentamento à tragédia climática que assola a região.
As inscrições para os interessados em participar estarão abertas a partir desta quinta-feira (16) e seguirão até a próxima segunda-feira (20). No caso dos policiais civis, o reforço será realizado por meio do Programa de Policiais Civis Aposentados (PPCA). Eles atuarão em delegacias de polícia, liberando os policiais ativos para as atividades prioritárias.
Os interessados em participar do PPCA devem estar dentro da idade máxima permitida antes da aposentadoria compulsória. As inscrições serão feitas exclusivamente através do e-mail ingresso@pc.rs.gov.br. A seleção será baseada nos critérios de menor tempo fora da atividade policial e menor idade.
Já para os bombeiros militares, a convocação acontece através do Programa Mais Efetivo. Os interessados devem ter menos de 58 anos de idade e terem ido para a reserva há menos de cinco anos. Eles serão designados para operações de busca e salvamento em áreas afetadas pelas enchentes. As inscrições podem ser feitas através de formulário online, e terão prioridade os militares com menor tempo na reserva remunerada.
Desde o início das chuvas em abril, o estado registrou 149 mortes, 108 desaparecidos e 806 feridos, afetando 446 municípios e impactando mais de 2 milhões de moradores.
