Rede de restaurantes atribui crise a efeitos da pandemia, mudan\u00e7a nos h\u00e1bitos de consumo e alta dos juros; grupo afirma que unidades seguem funcionando normalmente<\/strong><\/p>\n

O Grupo Habib\u2019s entrou com pedido de recupera\u00e7\u00e3o judicial<\/strong> na segunda-feira (24), declarando uma d\u00edvida de R$ 265,2 milh\u00f5es<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

O pedido foi aceito pela Justi\u00e7a de S\u00e3o Paulo na ter\u00e7a-feira (25). O juiz Jomar Juarez Amorim nomeou a consultoria KPMG como administradora judicial do processo.<\/p>\n

Empresa diz que lojas continuam funcionando<\/h2>\n

Em comunicado, o grupo afirmou que a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o judicial faz parte de um processo de reestrutura\u00e7\u00e3o financeira e tem como objetivo preservar a sustentabilidade do neg\u00f3cio no longo prazo.<\/p>\n

A empresa tamb\u00e9m informou que as opera\u00e7\u00f5es seguem normalmente, com atendimento aos clientes e funcionamento regular das unidades.<\/p>\n

O Grupo Gennius, controlador do Habib\u2019s, possui atualmente 119 lojas pr\u00f3prias da rede Habib\u2019s, 26 unidades do Ragazzo e seis churrascarias Tendall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Pandemia e delivery afetaram movimento<\/h2>\n

No pedido apresentado \u00e0 Justi\u00e7a, o grupo aponta os efeitos da pandemia de Covid-19<\/strong> como um dos fatores que contribu\u00edram para a crise financeira.<\/p>\n

Segundo a empresa, a redu\u00e7\u00e3o do movimento em shoppings e centros urbanos, onde estavam concentradas muitas unidades, afetou o desempenho dos restaurantes.<\/p>\n

A expans\u00e3o do delivery<\/strong> tamb\u00e9m teria provocado mudan\u00e7as nos h\u00e1bitos dos consumidores e reduzido o fluxo de clientes nos estabelecimentos f\u00edsicos.<\/p>\n

Alta dos juros aumentou press\u00e3o financeira<\/h2>\n

Outro fator citado pela empresa foi a alta dos juros<\/strong>, que elevou o custo das d\u00edvidas justamente em um per\u00edodo de menor movimento e press\u00e3o sobre o caixa.<\/p>\n

De acordo com o grupo, a combina\u00e7\u00e3o desses fatores dificultou o pagamento de fornecedores e agravou a situa\u00e7\u00e3o financeira.<\/p>\n
