Após a repercussão negativa da decisão do Conselho Municipal de Saúde (CMS) de Ponta Grossa contra a abertura da Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA) em Uvaranas, algumas entidades decidiram rever seus votos. Os representantes dessas entidades afirmam que não discutiram adequadamente o tema da votação internamente antes da decisão inicial. Em resposta, uma das organizações que compõe o CMS solicitou uma reunião extraordinária.
Inicialmente, a presidente do CMS, Gizelle Cheremeta, convocou uma reunião extraordinária para a próxima segunda-feira (22). No entanto, nesta sexta-feira, o encontro foi cancelado.
A presidente da Fundação Municipal de Saúde (FMS), Priscila Degraf, informou que não tem conhecimento do motivo do cancelamento da reunião.
Com a possibilidade de mudança de voto por parte dos membros do CMS, a viabilização da UPA em Uvaranas pode voltar a ser discutida e aprovada em uma futura reunião.
