No primeiro tempo, Pedrinho, de pênalti, abriu o placar para o Operário, já no começo. Aos 40, Marco Antônio bateu de fora e ampliou. Três minutos depois, Gabriel Bonet descontou para o Galo Maringá, em cobrança de falta. Lucas Hipólito, já no começo do segundo tempo, fez o terceiro do Fantasma e fechou o placar.
O Campeonato Paranaense começa em 17 de janeiro. Na primeira rodada, o Operário-PR encara o Londrina, no Germano Krüger, enquanto o Galo Maringá faz o dérbi com o Maringá, no Willie Davids.
