Desde o trágico incidente ocorrido em 14 de janeiro, envolvendo uma equipe da Guarda Municipal de Ponta Grossa e resultando na morte de Daniel Silveira, a Polícia Civil, por meio da Divisão de Homicídios, está conduzindo uma investigação detalhada.
O Inquérito Policial instaurado já incluiu diversas diligências, como a análise de câmeras de segurança, depoimentos dos envolvidos e a realização de perícias. As imagens que começaram a circular nas redes sociais foram recolhidas logo após a morte de Daniel e estão sob posse dos investigadores, fruto de uma ação conjunta entre as polícias Civil e Científica.
O delegado Luis Gustavo Timossi, responsável pelo caso, informou que as investigações estão progredindo de forma satisfatória. Caso seja comprovada a prática de ações ilícitas pelos agentes públicos envolvidos, eles serão devidamente indiciados conforme a legislação vigente.
Recentemente, a defesa de Daniel Silveira emitiu uma nota à imprensa, afirmando a inocência de Daniel no caso e destacando que ele não possuía arma no momento que foi abordado e baleado.
