Renato Aragão, o eterno “Didi”, fez sua estreia no palco do Teleton neste sábado (9), emocionando-se ao receber aplausos calorosos do público. Aos 89 anos, o humorista, que já havia contribuído com vídeos para campanhas de arrecadação da AACD (Associação de Assistência à Criança Deficiente) em edições anteriores, não conteve as lágrimas ao rever um registro feito para o evento de 1999. “Não sei como agradecer essa gente toda e receber tanto carinho”, declarou visivelmente emocionado, ao lado de sua filha, Lívia Aragão, de 25 anos.
A participação de Renato contou também com a presença de sua esposa, Lílian Taranto, que fez questão de comentar sobre o comportamento do marido. “Para quem não sabe, o Renato é muito tímido. Ele é quietinho no dia a dia, mas se solta quando começa uma gravação”, revelou a esposa do humorista.
O apresentador Ratinho, por sua vez, não escondeu a alegria de poder finalmente encontrar o ídolo pessoalmente. “Realizei um sonho: abracei Renato Aragão no camarim”, disse o comunicador, visivelmente empolgado. Renato, em tom de brincadeira, respondeu com bom humor: “Venha cá! Dê outro!”, arrancando risadas da plateia.
Embora já tenha gravado mensagens pedindo doações para a AACD em 1999 e 2023, esta foi a primeira vez que Renato Aragão se apresentou ao vivo no Teleton, reafirmando seu apoio à causa e emocionando todos os presentes com seu gesto de solidariedade.
