De acordo com a Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF), duas pessoas sobreviveram a tragédia: o caminhoneiro e um adolescente, de 17 anos, que estava na van.
Entre as vítimas estão adolescentes entre 15 e 17 anos, além de uma jovem, de 20 anos, um homem, de 43 anos, e o motorista da van, um homem de 52 anos.
