Nesta quinta-feira (30) o Tribunal Regional Eleitoral de São Paulo (TRE-SP) cassou o mandato da deputada federal Carla Zambelli (PL-SP), por 5 votos a 2
A parlamentar pode recorrer no Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE). Assim, a cassação não tem efeito imediato.
A decisão do TRE-SP torna Zambelli inelegível por oito anos a partir das eleições de 2022. A ação é uma Investigação Judicial Eleitoral (Aije) contra Zambelli, movida pela deputada federal Sâmia Bomfim (PSOL-SP).
A ação tinha sido suspenso em dezembro passado após a juíza Maria Cláudia Bedotti ter solicitado maior tempo para análise do caso.
Ao votar a favor da condenação, o desembargador Encinas Mafré, relator do processo, citou “abuso da liberdade de expressão e ato de evidente má-fé”.
A deputada Zambelli disse: “essa decisão não tem efeitos imediatos, e irei continuar representando São Paulo e meus eleitores até o encerramento dos recursos cabíveis”.
