Dois presos conseguiram fugir de dentro de uma viatura do Grupo de Escolta Tático Prisional (Getap), enquanto eram transferidos pela Via Expressa, na tarde de ontem (28), em Contagem, Região Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte. Os detentos estavam sendo transferidos de Três Corações, no Sul de Minas, para outro presídio.
Um caminhoneiro que seguia atrás da viatura registrou com o celular o momento em que um dos presos conseguiu escapar.
Logo após a fuga, um dos detentos foi rapidamente recapturado pela polícia. O segundo fugitivo, após uma breve busca na região, foi localizado escondido dentro de uma casa no final da tarde.
As investigações iniciais apontam que os presos conseguiram serrar as grades da viatura, mas ainda não há informações detalhadas sobre como eles conseguiram abrir a porta do veículo. O Departamento Penitenciário de Minas Gerais (Depen-MG) informou que uma apuração será conduzida para esclarecer as circunstâncias e responsabilidades envolvidas no incidente.
As buscas e a recaptura contaram com o apoio imediato da Polícia Militar, que agiu rapidamente para evitar uma situação mais grave.
