A médica Andressa Caroline Baggio Torres sofreu nesta segunda-feira (12) um grave acidente na região do Alto do Amparo, em Tibagi. Ela conduzia a Mitsubishi Outlander que perdeu o controle, capotou e despencou dentro de um rio às margens da rodovia BR-376. A colisão tirou a vida do filho e da mãe de Andressa.
Equipes do Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (SAMU) e do Serviço Integrado de Atendimento ao Trauma em Emergência (SIATE) socorreram as vítimas. Andressa e o filho foram encaminhados em estrado grave ao Hospital Unimed de Ponta Grossa. A identidade das vítimas fatais não foram reveladas. Os corpos foram encaminhados ao Instituto Médico Legal (IML) de Ponta Grossa.
