De acordo com informações da polícia, a situação ocorreu por volta das 19h30 e mobilizou um aparato de socorro e resgate para atender a vítima. Ainda conforme a polícia, o motorista do carro seguia pela rodovia no km 307, sentido Castro, quando o homem- possivelmente andarilho e de aproximadamente 40 anos, tentou atravessar a pista de forma repentina. Não houve tempo de reação para o motorista do carro, hatch, que infelizmente terminou atropelando o andarilho.
