A Polícia Civil do Paraná (PCPR) resgatou, nesta quarta-feira (26), um macaco-prego que viveu 31 anos preso em uma gaiola em Colombo, na Região Metropolitana de Curitiba.
Segundo o delegado Guilherme Dias, o animal está vivendo nestas condições desde 1994, sendo vítima do tráfico de animais. “A tutora foi responsabilizada por maus-tratos e tráfico de animais, e agora a Chita, a macaco-prego resgatada, será encaminhada para um santuário que ainda está sendo escolhido pela Polícia Civil”, explica.
Em casos de maus-tratos, o cidadão pode registrar um boletim de ocorrência online no site da PCPR. Nestas situações, é necessário que o crime esteja ocorrendo ou tenha ocorrido a prática de ato de abuso, maus-tratos, ferimentos propositais de animais silvestres, domésticos ou domesticados, nativos ou exóticos.
A população pode, ainda, denunciar o crime de forma anônima do Disque-Denúncia 181, via telefone ou site, ou telefone 197 da PCPR e, em Curitiba, diretamente à equipe de investigação da Delegacia de Proteção ao Meio Ambiente, pelo número (41) 3251-6200.
