A Câmara de Vereadores de Ponta Grossa se reúne em uma sessão extraordinária nesta quarta-feira (15). A pauta inclui dois projetos enviados pela prefeitura que tratam da reestruturação do quadro de pessoal e da administração municipal. De acordo com o apurado, a sessão foi convocada pela prefeita Elizabeth Schmidt (União Brasil), um mês antes do início do ano legislativo no município e das sessões ordinárias.
O governo municipal planeja criar uma nova secretaria e alterar a nomenclatura de outra, o que resultará na nomeação de mais cargos comissionados e no aumento dos gastos públicos. Segundo as informações, a prefeita Elizabeth propôs a criação da Secretaria Municipal de Projetos Estratégicos, que será liderada por Edgar Hampf, um comissionado vitalício, com um salário de R$ 22 mil. Além disso, a nova secretaria contará com quatro departamentos adicionais e novos cargos em comissão.
Outra mudança proposta é a renomeação da Secretaria de Recursos Humanos para Secretaria de Administração. Segundo a prefeitura, essas alterações e os novos cargos comissionados aumentarão as despesas com pessoal em R$ 1.162.790,69 para o exercício de 2025, elevando o índice de pessoal para 48,89%.
