As eleições municipais de 2024 começaram neste domingo (6) em Ponta Grossa, com os eleitores votando entre 8h e 17h. Aproximadamente 259 mil eleitores estão distribuídos em três Zonas Eleitorais (14ª, 15ª e 139ª), que abrangem 120 locais de votação e 723 seções eleitorais.
Para votar, os eleitores podem apresentar documentos com foto, como o e-Título, carteira de identidade, identidade social, passaporte, carteira profissional, certificado de reservista, carteira de trabalho ou CNH. Mesmo documentos vencidos podem ser aceitos, desde que a identidade do eleitor seja comprovada.
Nesta eleição, os cidadãos de Ponta Grossa votarão para dois cargos: vereador e prefeito. No município, há cinco candidatos concorrendo à prefeitura e 361 candidatos ao cargo de vereador. Os eleitores podem levar uma “colinha” com os números dos seus candidatos.
No dia da eleição, é permitido demonstrar preferência por partido ou candidato de forma individual e silenciosa, usando bandeiras, broches ou adesivos. No entanto, é proibido fazer propaganda boca de urna, promover comícios ou usar alto-falantes. Além disso, a aglomeração com vestuário padronizado que configure manifestação coletiva é vedada.
