O Galo Maringá anunciou o seu novo técnico para o restante do campeonato paranaense. Trata-se do treinador Emerson Cris, de 46 anos, que tem passagens pela equipe da Chapecoense.

Nascido em Curitiba, no Paraná, Emerson começou a sua carreira como treinador em 2014 pela Chape. Na equipe catarinense trabalhou no time sub-20 e no profissional. Em 2016 estava na comissão técnica que foi campeão do catarinense e da copa sul-americana. Em 2017 conquistou novamente o campeonato catarinense pela Chapecoense e no ano seguinte foi vice-campeão da Suruga Cup no Japão e do campeonato estadual. Em 2019 voltou a ser vice-campeão do catarinense com a Chapecoense e em 2020 se transferiu para o Concórdia Atlético Clube onde em 2021 voltou novamente a ser vice-campeão do catarinense. Em 2021 se transferiu para o EC Próspera e agora chega a equipe do Galo Maringá.

Essa será a primeira experiência do técnico no estado do Paraná e se diz motivado com o novo desafio em sua carreira. “Eu já vinha trabalhando a um bom tempo em Santa Catarina e recebi esse convite de trabalhar no estado do Paraná, que foi muito atrativo para mim, foi onde eu me criei, onde eu fiz a minha base no Paraná Clube por muitos anos, e agora retornando ao estado onde eu nasci. O Paulinho já havia conversado comigo algumas outras vezes mas infelizmente nunca deu certo mais agora graças a Deus nós entramos em um acordo e espero que consigamos realizar um bom trabalho”, explica Emerson.

O técnico já estará à beira do gramado no jogo contra o Athletico Paranaense. “O próximo jogo é complicado, contra o Athletico Paranaense na baixada, então nós sabemos que é um adversário de muita qualidade e muita dificuldade. Nós temos pouco tempo para trabalhar e eu cheguei hoje e os atletas jogaram ontem, não deu nem 24 horas de repouso, vamos fazer um recovery ativo e iremos posicionar equipe amanhã cedo para termos uma ideia da equipe e de quem iremos colocar em campo para depois descansar para enfrentar o Athletico lá na capital. Mas estamos confiante que podemos fazer um jogo bacana e surpreender”, finaliza o técnico.

Além do técnico, quem também chega ao Galo Maringá é o auxiliar técnico Léo Maringá que já trabalhou como auxiliar no Grêmio Maringá em 2022. Já na preparação física, o fisiologista Nico Souza assumirá a preparação da equipe principal.
