O XI Encontro Nacional do Colégio Permanente de Juristas da Justiça Eleitoral (Copeje) conclui suas atividades neste sábado (8), com a Reunião Ordinária do Copeje. O evento, iniciado na quarta-feira (5), reuniu especialistas para discutir “A Justiça Eleitoral e os Desafios da Inteligência Artificial nas Eleições de 2024.”
Na sexta-feira (7), o encontro contou com uma série de painéis abordando temas como: novas estratégias de campanha com IA, o papel das mulheres na política, e os desafios e oportunidades da inteligência artificial no contexto eleitoral. Entre os palestrantes, o ex-ministro do Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE), Tarcísio Vieira de Carvalho, destacou a importância de moderar os discursos eleitorais sob a nova normativa de 2024. Carvalho ressaltou a relevância do evento para o cenário eleitoral brasileiro, especialmente em relação às eleições municipais deste ano.
O conselheiro nacional de Justiça, Marcello Terto, também participou, enfatizando a necessidade de avaliar o impacto da IA nas eleições. Terto mencionou que é crucial ajustar a aplicação das regras recentemente estabelecidas pelo TSE e garantiu que o encontro visou aprimorar e ajustar os processos eleitorais para evitar problemas enfrentados em eleições anteriores.
O evento começou com um jantar de recepção na quarta-feira e teve sua abertura oficial na quinta-feira (6), com palestras e homenagens. O ex-presidente do Superior Tribunal de Justiça (STJ), Humberto Martins, foi um dos homenageados, recebendo a medalha Célio Silva por suas contribuições ao Judiciário. O encontro também contou com a presença de diversas autoridades, incluindo o vice-presidente do Tribunal de Justiça, desembargador Orlando Rocha, e outras figuras proeminentes do cenário jurídico e político de Alagoas.
