Foram encontrados pelo menos nove cães com as orelhas e caudas mutiladas
Um homem, de 43 anos, foi preso na manhã de sexta (12) na região do Ferraria, em Curitiba, após uma denúncia de maus-tratos de animais. Ele teria amarrado um cachorro de rua e utilizado um canivete para cortar os testículos do animal, sem anestésico. A informação é do Bem Paraná.
O suspeito fotografou o animal com dor e publicou em uma rede social. A Guarda Municipal, o Instituto SOS 4 Patas e a ONG Paraná Contra os Maus Tratos foram até o local verificar a ocorrência. No local, o responsável foi localizado e confirmou o fato, justificando que o animal estaria incomodando.
Também informou que realizava com frequência este tipo de procedimento, em cães, cavalos e suínos. Conforme apurou o Bem Paraná, foram encontrados pelo menos nove cães com as orelhas e caudas mutiladas durante a vistoria.
Todos os animais foram recolhidos pelo Instituto SOS 4 Patas e encaminhados para atendimento veterinário. O homem recebeu voz de prisão e autuado em flagrante por exercício ilegal da profissão de Medicina Veterinária e pelo crime de Maus Tratos aos Animais.
