O presidente da Câmara, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), sinalizou a ministros do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) que não pretende instalar nenhuma CPI contra a Corte.
O assunto foi tratado na conversa da tarde da última quarta-feira (17) com Alexandre de Moraes e também com outros ministros da Corte.
Isso após Lira sinalizar a lideranças partidárias que pretende analisar a abertura de CPIs, dentre as quais uma para apurar eventuais abusos de autoridade por parte do STF e do Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE).
Em uma das conversas, foi falado ainda que uma CPI para apurar outro poder era inconstitucional e que o STF certamente barraria sua instalação.
É lá, por exemplo, que foi aprovada uma PEC para limitar decisões do STF, e que parte dos senadores tem alertado sobre a possibilidade de impeachment de ministros do Supremo.
