Uma operação da Receita Federal e Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) apreendeu ontem (22) meia tonelada de cocaína em 15 fardos escondidos em um fundo falso de um caminhão na PR-323, em Doutor Camargo.
O caminhão boiadeiro transportava quatro cavalos e o motorista viajava sozinho. Ao todo, foram apreendidos 508 kg da droga, o que, de acordo com a PRF, tem valor estimado no mercado ilegal de R$ 90 milhões.
De acordo com a polícia, a cocaína era de origem paraguaia e o destino da carga era Sorocaba, no interior de São Paulo.
O condutor do caminhão, de 39 anos, foi preso em flagrante por tráfico de drogas. Segundo a PRF, foi a maior apreensão do Brasil em 2024.
