O homem, de 24 anos, foi detido em flagrante, por embriaguez ao volante no último domingo (7), no município de Imbituva. Ele não possuía Carteira Nacional de Habilitação (CNH).
De acordo com a Polícia Militar, após a colisão, o condutor foi submetido ao teste do bafômetro, que deu resultado de 0,48 mg/l de álcool, confirmando que ele teria feito o uso de bebidas alcóolicas.
O suspeito foi preso e encaminhado à Delegacia de Irati, onde permaneceu detido até o pagamento da fiança. A criança foi atingida pelo carro e chegou a ser socorrida, no entanto, faleceu no deslocamento ao hospital.
