Luiz Bacci surpreendeu a todos ao anunciar sua saída da Record logo após a edição de sexta-feira (17) do Cidade Alerta. Em um comunicado oficial, a emissora confirmou a decisão, que foi tomada em comum acordo, encerrando uma parceria de quase 15 anos.
O contrato do apresentador venceria em março, mas a rescisão foi antecipada. “A Record informa que, a partir de hoje, em comum acordo, o jornalista e apresentador Luiz Bacci não faz mais parte do seu quadro de colaboradores”, declarou a emissora. O comunicado destacou também as contribuições de Bacci, que passou por programas de grande audiência como Balanço Geral e Cidade Alerta, além de produções especiais como Em Nome da Justiça.
Sem se despedir do público, Bacci encerrou o programa normalmente, agradecendo pela audiência e companhia. Minutos depois, a Record oficializou sua saída. Em suas redes sociais, o apresentador tratou a saída como uma transição planejada, enfatizando seu desejo de investir no perfil online Bacci Notícias, transformando-o em uma central de informações. “Após quase 15 anos de conquistas, Luiz Bacci anunciou sua saída da Record. A decisão encerra um ciclo significativo na carreira do apresentador”, publicou ele.
Luiz Bacci iniciou na Record em 2010, ganhando destaque como repórter no Rio de Janeiro antes de se consolidar em São Paulo. Desde 2017, à frente do Cidade Alerta, ele levou o jornalístico à vice-liderança de audiência e, em momentos históricos, à liderança.
Com sua saída, Reinaldo Gottino assumirá o comando do Cidade Alerta a partir de segunda-feira (20), enquanto Eleandro Passaia ficará responsável pelo Balanço Geral SP, retornando à emissora após um breve afastamento.
