A Viação Campos Gerais terá mais uma prorrogação de contrato com a Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa. A informação foi revelada antecipadamente pelo Blog da Mareli Martins ainda em 2024. a prefeita Elizabeth Schmidt (União Brasil) confirmou a prorrogação, durante entrevista concedida no dia 19 de fevereiro de 2025.
Nesta terça-feira (11) o Tribunal de Justiça do Paraná (TJPR) manteve a suspensão do processo da nova licitação do transporte. Vale lembrar, que foi a própria Viação Campos Gerais (VCG) que impugnou a licitação, alegando irregularidades.
Em entrevista ao blog da Mareli, no dia 19 de fevereiro de 2025, Elizabeth já havia adiantado sobre a prorrogação com a VCG. “E isso demorar (recurso na justiça), o que vai acontecer dia 11 de junho, se não prorrogarmos? Não vai mais ter transporte na cidade”, disse a prefeita.
Quando a pergunta foi se Ponta Grossa corre o risco da prorrogação com a VCG, a resposta da prefeita foi sim. “Está correndo o risco porque estamos sub judice. E a culpa é minha? Não. Houve um processo judicial que está acontecendo e o juiz vai determinar a continuação disso”, afirmou.
Nesta terça-feira (11), após a decisão do TJPR, a Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa informou que “está avaliando todas as alternativas jurídicas cabíveis, o que poderá incluir a interposição dos recursos necessários e/ou a revisão dos instrumentos da licitação, sempre visando a legalidade e a transparência do processo”.
Mesmo que fosse liberado o processo licitatório, ou seja, que fosse derrubada a suspensão, a prefeita sinalizou que poderia “não haveria tempo suficiente para uma nova licitação”, pois a prorrogação com a VCG encerra no dia 11 de junho de 2025.

“A manutenção da decisão liminar que mantém suspensa a licitação do Transporte Coletivo pelo Tribunal de Justiça se baseou na ausência de publicidade de informações essenciais à concorrência pública por parte do Município. A intenção da Viação Campos Gerais é que sejam divulgados a todos os potenciais concorrentes todos os parâmetros de cálculo adotados pelo Município para a elaboração do Edital de Licitação”, declarou a VCG.
