O menino André Juliano Abreu Santiago Paixão, de 7 anos, morreu na tarde de ontem (1º) após cair de um playground na escola municipal Jornalista Carlos Tallarico, em Capão Bonito, cidade do interior de São Paulo.
Aluno do 2º ano do ensino fundamental, André deu um salto em um brinquedo do parquinho da escola, caiu e bateu a cabeça no chão. Ele foi socorrido por uma unidade de resgate do Corpo de Bombeiros, mas acabou morrendo no pronto-socorro central da cidade.
Segundo a Secretaria da Segurança Pública (SSP), o Instituto de Criminalística avalia as circunstâncias nas quais a criança caiu, assim como o brinquedo onde André estava no playground na hora do acidente.
O caso foi registrado como morte suspeita pela Polícia Civil do interior paulista. O prefeito de Capão Bonito, Júlio Fernando Galvão Dias (Podemos), decretou luto oficial de três dias pela morte da criança.
As aulas na escola municipal também foram suspensas.
“Nos próximos dias, toda a equipe técnica de apoio psicossocial estará de plantão na escola prestando apoio aos alunos, professores, gestão e pais”, diz trecho de nota divulgada pela prefeitura local.
A gestão municipal afirmou ainda que o playground da escola estava dentro das normas da Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas (ABNT) e que presta “todo o apoio” à família da criança.
“Destacamos que o playground instalado na unidade escolar segue as normas da ABNT e que a Secretaria de Educação possui todos os documentos que serão apresentados as autoridades que acompanham o caso.”
A prefeitura acrescentou que funcionários e a equipe gestora da escola serão ouvidos e que será feito um relatório sobre os “protocolos seguidos no momento do acidente”.
