A Polícia Federal foi acionada para verificar uma “possível ameaça de bomba” em uma aeronave da empresa Jet Smart que decolaria, na noite desse domingo (11), do Aeroporto Internacional das Cataratas, em Foz do Iguaçu (PR), com destino a Santiago, no Chile.
De acordo com a PF, por volta das 21h, um dos passageiros informou à comissária de bordo que estava portando uma bomba. “Imediatamente, equipes da PF foram acionadas para iniciar os protocolos de segurança e de gerenciamento de crise”, informou, em nota, a PF.
O aeroporto foi então fechado para pouso e decolagem e a aeronave foi evacuada e direcionada para um local afastado e seguro, onde foi analisado por uma equipe técnica.
“Foi constatado que o passageiro trabalha no ramo da hotelaria e estaria viajando a serviço, tendo sido detido, retirado da aeronave e levado para o posto da PF”, detalhou a PF. Após a verificação de que ele não havia artefato explosivo, o aeroporto foi reaberto e os passageiros foram liberados para embarcar.
O passageiro que disse ter a bomba foi preso em flagrante “por expor a perigo a aviação” e encaminhado para a Delegacia de Polícia Federal em Foz do Iguaçu, para a lavratura de sua prisão. Se condenado, poderá pegar até 5 anos de reclusão.
